The concrete jungle.

Well, here I am. For 7 years I prayed to be back in the city here in Toronto, and now that I'm here, I find myself wondering, what was the big deal? Why was it so important to move back here? The city as I remembered it, is gone. Or maybe my views have changed? Toronto is not family friendly. I am finding so hard to take my kids to places that they can run around and have fun, yet there are 3 million people that live here, and am I the only one that feels this way? We were lucky enough to rind a rental in one of the most richest areas. There are HUGE mansions on our street, the guy up road drives a Ferrari, the other a Lamborghini, 6 garages, and 6000 sq ft. homes are considered small out here! WHAT??!?!?!? I don't understand people out here, my 2 year old said hello to someone on the street and they just ignored him. People here are so cold. So mean! I'm glad that I have changed that this bothers, because before none of this would have bothered me. So as we prayed for God to move us here, we're praying once again for God to move us again!!! so crazy eh!?!?! We have been looking to move to one of the suburbs around Toronto. We put in an offer on a townhouse a few weeks ago, but then realized that we moved too quickly and since it a buyers market, we know that we could get a better deal if we wait for the right house. Let's see what God has in store for us. I have learned to pray differently, and to just God for His will to be done, and for Him to move us to where ever He wishes to. And even if it means to move back to Alberta, (which I don't think that He will.) AGH! this is so frustrating! We've been here almost 5 months now and we still don't feel settled in. At least my funny gay neighbour from upstairs has a lot to share, he's the house wife, so I've really enjoyed chatting with him about our men and mother in laws! Two things that are always full of DRAMA! LOL!!!
